Treat you’s beautiful Verde Towel (Pestemal Verde) unique design is characterized by its variable width and coloured vertical stripes woven in beige, orange, black, red, blue, yellow, green, light green, gray and light blue. Optically, the green tones do tend to predominate the overall colour feeling. Personally, I find that the wider beige stripes add a natural look to this robust and versatile pestemal and is variably suitable as a bath, shower, sauna, hammam or lounge towel and also as a pareo. The harmoniously coloured Verde Towel can also serve as a charming, decorative tablecloth for either indoor or outdoor use.
The aesthetic Verde Towel (Pestemal Verde) has a similar weave structure to the Pestemal Retroin my collection as they are both tightly woven giving the pestemal a noticeable robustness and strength. At 1.90 meters, the Verde Towel is longer than most towels in treat you’s catalogue.
Treat you’s Verde Towel is woven on a semi-automatic loom known as "Kara Tezgha" in Turkish. Please feel free to read more about this loom that was invented in the 18th century in my blog post:"A functional guide to semi-automatic looms".
Treat you’s Verde Towel can be machine washed at 40°C in the regular cyle. I strongly recommend that you wash this towel for the first time at 30°C to keep its color and robust feeling. I also recommend that you first hang dry this towel directly after washing, and then feel free to give your towel a light fluff in your dryer for about 10 minutes to keep it cozy.
