Treat you’s Namaka Pestemal collection is traditionally loomed to be a light, flat-woven hammam towel and designed with a truly unique pattern. This sublimely elegant towel is superbly suitable as either a bath, shower, travel, beach or wellness towel or, even a baby blanket and tablecloth.
Upon closer inspection, you will definitely come to love and truly appreciate the detailed minutiae and interplay of patterns created by the stripes, zigzags and diamonds. The backside of the Namaka Pestemal is lighter colored and characterized with a partially negative weave pattern.
Treat you’s Namaka Pestemal is obtained and purchased directly from Ibrahim and his family in Turkey. He and his family have been weaving Pestemals in their home atelier for over 40 years utilizing various analog weaving machines for their production process. As with the Octopus Pestemal auf einem traditionellen halbautomatischen Webstuhl gefertigt. Dieser muss von Hand bedient und dauernd überwacht werden. Daher ist die Produktion zeitaufwendig und braucht ein gutes Knowhow. The noble Namaka Hammam Towel Collection is weaved with 100% natural cotton, measures 175cm x 95 cm and is available in four different colors: Black, Royal Blue, Orange and Stark Pink.
All Namaka towels are machine washable at 40°C in the gentle cycle. I personally recommend that you first wash your new Namaka towel at 30°C in the gentle cycle. *Important* - Please avoid directly tumble drying your Namaka towel after washing and simply hang dry this towel to help preserve and maintain it’s beauty over time.
